Reading to Cook

Cooking is my passion, I learned to cook through reading every cookbook that ever crossed my path. I cleaned out library shelves one after another taking five home at a time to study flavors and techniques from France, India, Nigeria and Egypt. I’ve read myself around the world and back again through the recipes in cookbooks and my spice cabinet swells with each turned page. My confidence and technique grew with each recipe I tried. I learned that local, organic and slow tasted better and connected me deeper with what I was cooking.  I want to share that passion with you, guiding you to new flavors and ideas. I want to write stories that make you dream of food and inspire you to let your taste buds (and maybe your feet) travel.
